My Sennheiser PC350s smoke any 5.1 set interms of positioning sounds. I can hear sounds that nobody else can hear and I can pick up the position of an enemy much better. They also work great for Teamspeak and I have one of the best sounding mics in our group. The only downfall of them was the crappy material on the ear cups. I replaced them with a set from some Sennheiser 555s (which I also own) and now they are the same as the PC360s. Having said that, I would buy the 360s instead if I had to rebuy just for the upgraded ear cups and the life the mic to mute function.

Well, if this is true, than my onboard must blow. My Corsair HS1's, which are USB are 100 times louder. Better construction and comfortability to boot. :D

My volume is maxed and was using the volume control on the Siberia's to control it, but it's max and it is silent...

Also, I was wondering if it was possible to plug the Siberia into my Razer keyboard. Every time I do, nothing happens.

Alright, they work now. Not sure why they were giving me a hard time.

UPDATE: I just bought an Asus Xonar DGX 5.1 sound card to try out.

For some reason I cant get sound working on my speakers. When I test the left and right speakers, I hear "Left Speaker" or "Right Speaker", but opening itunes and trying to play a song does nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

Have multiple sound systems, in control panel, sound, make sure you have the default set properly . In there you can set it up in properties, also test.

Sometimes if headphones are plugged in they also override the speakers.

Alright I got the sound working now finally. I tested them out with music and in BF3. For music, it's meh. BF3 definitely is more immersive, but is still fairly quiet on full volume.

I also tested a set of Beats Studio headphone and these are much louder and more full that the Siberia V2's. The Siberia's have much better positional awareness than the Beats, but the Beats are so full sounding. The gunshots, explosions etc, are much more full and crisp sounding than on the Siberia's.

One thing to note though is that I have not really tinkered with the Asus settings yet. I am going to see if I can satisfy my high expectations before I bring the sound card back and just be happy with sound at all. :D
