I've had no problems with my Tiamats. I have a buddy here that also has the Tiamats, and I don't think he had any issues either. Remember, the Tiamats are GAMING headphones, and as such, are the best 5.1/7.1 analog surround sound headphones available. Next to Psyko, that is. $400 for the Carbons is the deal killer. IMO.

I am not a hardcore headset guy. I do enjoy my wireless Corsair Vengeance 2000's though. (I believe they were $109 at Canada Computers a few weeks ago).

I don't really care for positional audio on a headset, if you hear a sound to your left, right, or centre, and there's nothing in front of you... is it not natural to just turn around? lol.

I do appreciate how surround works, the majority of the time I am using Jamo 5.1 speakers via an old Yamaha AV receiver with an Auzentech X-FI theatre HD sound card.

Yea, I am starting to notice that. Also i am not happy when how short the cords are on them. I need to find extenders for them.

I like my Vengeance 1500's so far. They're identical to the 2000's, but they're wired. They sound pretty good, and the Dolby surround (simulation) seems to do a pretty good job.

will sell my tiamats cheap hardly used, have the sen pc360, pc350, hd555, audio technica ad700, ath m50's, logetech g35 a couple sets and the asus vulcans. For gaming and ts3 use the pc360, anything surround I find is shit either on the mic or the sound details ie location. Sound end have the asus pheobus 7.1 sound card, creative thx external, and now for tunes use the fiio oe7/eo9 desktop amp for the m50's lately. Now some of the guys in my clan prefer the g930's they swear by them, me haven't tried them myself. Siberia have had a few and also there more expensive headsets. Razor again have had lots over the years either smashed them (they did have 5 little speakers in each headphones) or they set in the corner idea. Sennheiser I seem too always go back too.

They come with extenders. Think its about 3-4' on the headset, and then the extender is atleast 6' extra.

I'm enjoying mine as well. And most importantly they are comfortable.
