My best friend has the AD700s and here is what i found after using them

1. They are much more comfortable. If you are listen to music or playing games for a long period of time my ears or heads in general never hurt.

2. The AD700s have very good detail, amazing clarity.

3. I found that the AD700s had much better highs.

4. In term of bass i found the Senns and the AD700s to be about the same.

The one thing i do like about my Senns is that they do provide very good balance.

That is just my opinion. If you had the opportunity to listen to both you might think differently. Other member might disagree with me.

Either way the AD700s or the Senns PC360s are great headphones and you really can't go wrong with whatever you decide to buy.

On a side note. What is a good headphone amp?

Mbox 2 is a great amp. My brother had one or recording music and it was very clear. You can find these used for a great price.

No need to buy an audio interface like this just for the amp.

Razer Star Wars The Old Republic Gaming Headset 7.1 Dolby Surround Adjustable Lighting $59 on sale from $129 - and they glow whatever colour you want - who doesn't want choice for their ear glow. But seriously 7.1 sound? But I really don't know anything about buying headphones. This one is USB - any up or downside of being USB other than the fact it will only work on my PC and not on a tablet? (or so I understand). Also I read somewhere that the USB does not use your sound card? My "sound card" is integrated on my motherboard. From the motherboard website "RealtekŪ ALC892 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC . Supports : Jack-detection, Multi-streaming, Front Panel Jack-retasking" I use my front panel jack now with my 'normal' Sony stereo headphones. As for the look, I'd rather just get plain ones, but these are at least better than those that come with some evil looking skull or other 'death' symbol on them.

I'll sleep on it with visions of glowing headphones dancing in my head.
