Default headset for voip softphone

I have a couple of people working for me remotely. First day and I think I need to send out some headsets. I need a decent set of USB headphones for cheap. I don't care about gaming, or a long use. This is only for morning conference calls maybe 1 hour long with the odd call through out the day.

are headsets like this fine for that? I know Plantronics has always been decent in telephony products but I have no idea about headsets. I just need to hear these people, and what ever they have now sucks. I fig USB is good to stick with because I don't know how crappy their audio card is.

My System Specs

Plantronics always worked when we used them years ago, maybe get some on the head style instead of behind the neck idea.
