My System Specs

Default $30 pair of headphones

My Sony MDR-XD200 cans that I use at work have been broken for a while. I've used tuck tape to hold them together, but it's finally time to replace them.

I don't want to spend much money, $30-$40 at the most. I want to go out at lunch and buy them. Local retailers include Wal-mart, Best Buy, even Memory Express.

They're solely for listening to music. I don't need a mic. Smaller would be better (so as to be less intrusive in the work environment) but I don't like earbuds.

EDIT:

What about these:

Sony Headband Headphones (MDRZX300W) - White : On-Ear Headphones - Best Buy Canada

They're white though... Kinda Douchey

EDIT EDIT:

Found a black version...

If you don't mind clip on's, KSC75's are probably your best bet. They're widely available and often go for ~$10-15. Other good headphones in that price range probably wouldn't be locally available to you.

gamecom 367 headset, one of the best I have used, they take a bit of getting used to, but have a very good mic, decent quality noise blocking, comfortable and can do everything well enough, bass isnt extremely deep and treble isnt really high, just a good balance, I bought mine online for $35 shipped from Dell.

Canada Computers | Pro Audio | SAMSON SR850C - Professional Studio Reference Headphones

I believe these (samson SR850) are the superlux 688b's OEM version without the removable cable. They're pretty good for the price if your preferred sound signature is on the bright side.

Some positive words about them here. Samson SR850 (Superlux OEM) Review: A $50 Budget Champion.

Edit: Nevermind. I should have read your location first. There's no local canada computers in your area and these are actually pretty bulky.
