Default Clip on Flash MP3 player with FLAC

Anyone have any recommendations for a good Flash music/mp3 player that supports FLAC files? I'd like something with a clip for the gym (which is where I'll use it most). Capacity of at least 6 or 8 gigs would be nice and I'd like to avoid getting an iPod.

Price isn't really an issue, and I don't need a fancy screen, just decent build quality.

Sounds like you'd like the Sansa Clip+. I don't own one but my brother does. After he shattered his iPhone listening to music while jogging, he picked one of these up and is quite happy. I think his is a 2GB model but they go up to 8.

It sounded really good with a pair of Klipsch S4's and I was surprised at the inclusion of FLAC and OGG. Plus it can take a micro-sd card for extra space. The build quality felt okay when I held it and his has already hit the pavement on a couple occasions, with just a couple nicks and scratches.

That's the only one I've found that looks promising so far. Glad to hear it's worked out for your brother. Thanks for the reply
