Default RCA vs JACK quality

Hey i was wondering ,what will give me the best sound quality? a dual 6.35 plugged into RCA with Y female 3.5 jack or a simple 6.35 to 3.5?

OR

Thanks!

Nobody really explains that on the internet, they don't really know, btw it's for headphones, not speakers.I know the headphones plug is supposed to be the single jack but i wanna make sure it's better than RCA.

There is no difference. Both are analog and both are stereo.

Personally, I'd use the jack as opposed to the RCA as I believe it will offer a better connection over time. RCA is fine for a static connection, but a headphone cable is going to move around and a jack is better designed to both stay in place, as well as not get misformed over time.

Stick with the jack, it's easier and I agree with what sswilson is saying. Good choice on the PreSonus, they make great products.

Thanks for the update and it's not too surprising what you've discovered. I took Audio Recording and Engineering a few years back and to make a long story short rented out the Audiobox 1818VSL for a week and was really impressed. Especially considering the price.
