Took the plunge on the Trittons... now for the sound-card..

Personally I was looking at the DX or the DG.. (can't afford to go over $100)

Sub $100 what would be your suggestion for an all-round good card, don't know about needing a headphone amp.. or would I be better not powering and using the amp?

Any and all input welcome... not stuck to any manufacturer.. Looking to drive the Trittons mentioned above and possibly a mid range set of cans in the future.

How about Auzentech? I snagged a used X-Fi Fort for less than $90 here. As for headphones, I use a pair of Sennheiser HD595. The 3D positional audio is great with that combination.

Too late on the headset for now.. just want to have a good set of cans considered when I'm getting the card...

Unfortunately second hand is not an option at the moment.. only looking new and prices here are about 10% more than US..

Site I'm buying from (use chrome to translate)
Rozetka.ua sound cards.

Basically my choices are SB audigy SE, asus DS, DG, D1, DSX (dx is out of stock but I want to buy tomorrow before a promotion goes where you can win a Edifier HCS5640..)

Unless the DX is really worth waiting for over these options.
also I'd prefer to go pci-e rather than PCI as I may be getting a 27" IPS and want to keep the coolers clear if I go SLI for it

Out of the cards listed on that site, I'd take the DX for your price range.
