Which headset do you recommend?

So I was planning on buying the razer megalodon or a pair of astros. What do you guys think? Thanks :)

You won't be disappointed with the megalodon I can tell you that. But is you can settle without the surround there's the great Carcharias for much cheaper.

What ever you do,stay away from USB headphones. Get a good set that plugs straight into your sound card. Pure analog all the way.

I recently got the psyko krypton 5.1 headphones. The sound is pretty good if you tweak the equalizer settings in the dolby software according to what they specify on the psyko website. The mic was useless though. I chopped it off and spliced on an old janky one and it was waaayyy better..

The Psyko's are on sale at Psyko Audio. Free delivery and a 14 day money back guarantee,no questions asked. The Krypton's are going for $119 and the Carbon's for $169. The Carbon series is a much MUCH better set. Upgraded speakers etc. Like dandelioneater said, play with the EQ settings etc. til you get the sound you want. Give them a bit of time for a proper burn in. Whether you choose Krypton or Carbon, you won't find a better set of 5.1 analog headphones.
