Default Good headset with mic for gaming

I'm looking for a good headset with a mic for bf3 and other games. Affordable ( not the crazy $200 or $300 ) headsets. I want to keep this in the sane category, as I play mostly late at night and the kids and wife are asleep.

Opinions are welcome, please send links to the headsets as well so I can take a peek.

I just picked up psyko krypton 5.1 headphones for about 100 bucks off their website. Not sure if the sale is still on though. I think the corsair headsets are also pretty good though.

I would stray away from corsair headsets, their build quality is terrible.

About the vengence ones you're right, but with the HS1 I've had a very good experience.

I can't say enough good things about the Razer Carcharias. They're incredibly comfortable over long gaming sessions, excellent sound, and solid build quality. Plus, you can find them on sale for $69 all the time.

Newegg.ca - RAZER Carcharias 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Professional Gaming Headset

+1 on the Razor headset It's the only head set i've owned that the little volume/mic dongle doesn't add noise or screw up. I Swear on every single headset i've owned in the past 4 years this is the ONLY one that thing didn't break or add scratchy annoying noises. I owned the steel series and the little volume control thing would add scratchy noises when turning up and down and only after about 6 months or so.

I've been using the Razors for a year now and they are as good as the day I bought them. Very comfortable too with the felt liners instead of leather or vinyl like some others.

70 bux new.
