Ah okay, so the D2X is better than the Xense? What would you recommend out of the D2X and Forte?

Thank you again for all the help.

D2X is a better sounding card. To me it is the best multi channel card available in terms of sound card. Then comes the Prelude. However I use the Smart Volume Management on X-Fi cards, so personally I'd go w/ the Forte. But that is the only reason I'd do so.

No way is the D2X a better card than the Xense. If you don't need headphones and you can't find an Xense without the headphones, then go with the X-FI Forte. For gaming though, the Xense beats all others. I know,I have had all others. Honest!
