A/V receivers
Hey guys,

Whats the best ~$200 Used A/V receiver?

I'd probably stick with a Yamaha, HK, or Denon receiver if possible.

You may find avsforum.com more helpful; I quite often go there for audio/video questions.

I'd say you should be able to get a used Onkyo SR-507 for about $200. It is a great receiver which supports DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD.

The only problem with buying used is shipping charges. Receivers are big, bulky and heavy which will likely bring the cost of a used one very close to that of a brand new unit.
