In need of a new headset

*Thanks for moving mods *

Well I managed to snap my damn Steelseries 7H in half just by taking them off my head *sigh
So it would appear it is time to look for a new set and I honestly do not know where to even begin. I have been debating going the separate mic from headphone way, or sticking with the all in one like I'm used to. Now they will be used mainly for FPS gaming and chat with teammates but I would also like a pair that have fairly good sound quality. Budget isn't really a concern as long as its not >$300.

Heres what I have been looking at:
PC 360 Sennheiser Canada Inc. - PC 360
A40 Astro A40 Audio System | A40 Headset & Mixamp | AstroGaming.com
G930 Wireless Gaming Headset G930

Feel free to toss out any ideas

Thanks guys

oddly enough. hwc just did a review on these

apparently work extremely well for gaming / mic talk and decent for everything else

I am leaning towards the separate mic from headphone and have been looking at the Sennheiser HD 558.
Anyone heard if they're any good? Cant seem to find anywhere that sells them in Calgary though. Memory Express has them but they're special order and I'm, traveling to Calgary in a week so I would like to buy them there...no shipping or PST is always a bonus.

As for Mic, figured just a Logitech USB Desktop one would be fine

Currently there is an awesome deal on the Audio Technica ATH-A700 at Amazon @ 120$. My friend who is a real audiophile just ordered one, and he wont stop talking about the merits of these headphones!

Although keep in mind these a audiophile headphones and not a gaming headset so u will need to get a standalone mic...
