S330D has decent bass for its price. I've seen it go down to 90$ before. Klipsch Promedia 2.1 WAS good, but the new refresh has made some compromises. I'm not sure if it's worth 199$...

I've heard okay things about the Corsair, but again I've heard stellar reviews for Corsair HS1 headset about "sound quality", and that's precisely what I didn't find in it.

would still be cheaper to buy at a CC retail location because you wouldn't have to pay for shipping ;)

(however, I'm not sure if CC has stores in QC)

GO to a local pawn shop and pick up a decent amp and a set of tower speakers. PC speakers all have major limitations, they are not worth the cash. I have a 10 year old Technics 300W Class A amp and matching tower 3 way speakers. They beat everything I have ever had PC wise, and I have had the Klipsch and the Logitechs. I'll never again buy PC spec speakers.

Depending how much you want to spend and how much space you have, b1lk1 made a great suggestion. Otherwise you could always look to Monitors. I have a pair of Alesis M1 Active MKII that sounds absolutely amazing. I don't miss a subwoofer at all. They actually have a refurbished model for $269 on their site.

M1Active MKII

They also have less expensive models as well, just make sure to go with an Active monitor as it has the amp built in to it.
