Default sound card for corsair SP2500

can anyone recomend me a good soundcard to go with these speakers. I was looking at the Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-FI Titanium HD. Though it does cost a bit too much. I mostly game and listen to music so i don't know exactly which sound card would be worth it. i'm no audiophile, so if there are cheaper solutions, i would appreciate any other recommendations .

The X-FI Titanium HD definitely isn't a bad choice. You couldn't go wrong w/ either it or the Xonar Essence ST / STX. If you wanted to spend less you could go try to grab a used Auzentech Prelude / Forte. If you are unable to find one of those used then the Xonar DX or Auzentech Bravura are good cheaper choices.

That would be subjective. Depends on your ears and what you are listening to. Either way the Xonar DX would still be a huge upgrade over onboard.
