Default Corsair headset ( USB or 3.55mm jack)

I m having troubling to pick the right verison of corsiar headset.
Is the USB sounds quality better than the 3.55MM jack one?
Or they both are the same?

As far as I am aware there is only the USB version, can you link me to the jack version?

The USB sound quality will probably be better than your onboard audio.. if your going for a high quality jack headset it's recommended to get a high quality sound card.

that's correct..technically it's more features. If you already have a sound card, stick with the 3.5mm, but if not, the USB version will probably sound better.

Gaming Audio Series
HS1A (analogue)

I just hope the analogue version has differently tuned drivers, since the ones found in the HS1 are no good

I think it'd go in this order if you were set on getting an HS1:

HS1A with Sound Card > HS1 > HS1A with Onboard Sound

If you have a discrete sound card, get the jack version (HS1A). If you don't own a sound card, then the USB version probably has better sound than your onboard. (Unless you have an Asus ROG board).

I am using a on board sound card...so that the USB still beats it?
