 No sound coming from HDMI port.
Hey there folks,
If you haven't read my thread on trouble shooting my computer, then let me update you.
I recently bought a prebuilt computer, and inside this prebuilt computer is a mobo (M4A785TD-V EVO) with an IGP and an HDMI port.
Now from what I understand, the HDMI port should carry sound and video, however I get video going to my 46" samsung tv, but not the sound. Is this because the IGP doesn't support sound output through HDMI? or should I update the drivers for the IGP? I can't seem to find any drivers for the IGP on the ASUS website.
NEVERMIND. silly question, should've read the manual first. =(
