M50s usually go for about 90-110$ USD. Any lower and an alarm would go off in my head. When I had a pair of M50s to play with, they were absolutely a joy to listen to

If you're open to purchasing on ebay, keep an eye out for some high end Sennheiser's. I picked up a mint set of HD 595's for $95 shipped. I've been extremely pleased with their sound as well as comfort.

hardly high end, but at least they're better than those mediocre 555s. 95$ is a great deal. Problem is that it's got the classic Sennheiser "veil" which I personally hate.

By no means am I an expert or audiophile. However, I have owned several different low to medium Sennheisers with mixed results. I recently switched to SHURE and bought the SRH750DJ model. I absolutely love them and the Sennheisers have been collecting dust ever since.

OH yeah for sure. I love the new Shure line. I've owned both the 840s and 750DJs, and loved them both

Dell sells the Alienware TactX headphones for $80.00. Pretty nice package worth looking at.

I'd also recommend the Sony MDR-7506, get the M50 if you can, but if you cannot find one, then the 7506 is also a descent set. I found both of them sound very similar.

Check Amazon UK's pricing also, and remember when you put an item in your cart the VAT comes off.
You can get AKG 271 MKII's for CDN$165 shipped from Amazon UK (roughly 100 pounds sterling) and Sennheiser HD 448's for around CDN$84 shipped.
