Yea, that's the type of thinking I'm trying to employ!
I'm thinking if Linus can compare the 7H to the 555's...maybe they're not the absolute best choice, but they're a fair option.
Thanks for all the help guys, I think I'm pretty set.

@Pine, if you want the steelseries, buy them. All we are giving is opinion based on our own experiences.

Yea, I understand. It's just very difficult to find the headphones you suggest in Canada in my budget. I know I seem as if I'm ignoring your advice, but I've looked into those cans a lot, and I just can't seem to get a way to get them.
I'm not completely decided as of now, but I've much more information to work with, and that's a great help.

Opinions are just that. If you think the steelseries are the right match for you buy them up. In the end you have to be happy with the purchase.

I own a pair of PC350's and have heard this before, but I have NEVER had a problem with this. my headphones are freaking loud and sound GREAT.

I can wear them four hours on end with no irritation. I would highly recommend them as long as you are not looking for an extreme amount of bass :P
