Default Will it Work Again?

My Jailbroken IPod Touch went for a three minute wash today and I'm curious to see your thoughts on if it will ever work again. Personally I don't think it will. I have it in a bowl of rice because I heard that might help and I'm going to leave it in the rice for a week or two before trying to power it on.

I did the exact same thing a couple weeks ago but for 30 minutes. So far it hasn't come back to life. Maybe someday...

hate to break it to ya..3 minutes is more than enough time to short out most things

Best of luck though. I hope it does come back

Yeah I hope it does come back to life. I'm really dissapointed with myself for leaving it in my pocket and throwing it into the wash.

Take it apart and dry the insides out thoroughly. I've been able to salvage submerged electronics before by doing that.

My friend's kid dropped his iPod touch in a snowbank a month ago. The neighbours found it yesterday. It fired right up. Go figure. And yes, the snow's been melting all week - that's how/why they found it.

Its most likely gone, this is one of the reasons why when i do the laundry or before i put anything in the hamper, i check all the pockets and make sure i have nothing in them. This so far has lead me to not killing any electronics
