sound is great - poor ? I'm using quality headphones only.

Sounds fine to me. However, if you have a decent motherboard, the onboard sound might suffice. Really depends on the quality of headphones you have I guess, and if you do have high-end ones, you'd probably want a sound card that has a headphone amp in it.

Will it be much better than the onboard even if i use speakers like Z2300 or Z5500?
