PSP? Or a Zune HD, it has a program that you can DL to make it usable as an external drive.

Since when do you need to mod a PSP for that? Just add a memory card and you're good to go. It has a built in MP3 player.

Youre forgetting the requirements.... Easy to convert or drag and drop videos? Nope. USB car radio compatible? hell no. Cmon man...

Get a memory stick pro->USB converter... but yes it still does lack easy converting AFAIK. I haven't had much experience with them.

+1 for the Cowon. I have the D2 4GB (with a 4GB SD card as well), and it's pretty much exactly what you've described; AFAIK, the S9 is just its bigger, prettier sister :)

+1 more for the Cowon. Brand-loyalty! I've got an iaudio 7 and it's pretty awesome.

he went with the cowon although software is required to convert some vids (not sure which ones exactly) the software is free and supposedly somewhat easy to use

Yep. It actually came along with my Cowon; all it is is a small program for changing the resolution to fit the screen size. Drag and drop, and press convert. All newly created files end up having a "D2" moniker for mine; I assume it's a S9 moniker for his. Great choice with the Cowon!

Sounds wonderfully simple! But what formats/resolutions Have to be resized? I've read from some reviews that many divx/xvids can just be dragged right onto the unit without issues...
