It's for this computer.

Hopefully soon I'll be able to post some updates. My DLSR crapped out and is in for repair so I started using a P&S but the wife forgot that at her mom's house, so I'm S.O.L. for a bit. Work is slow going but I hope to maybe give them a listen sometime next week... but I'm not holding my breath. The finishing certainly won't be done anyway, not sure which way I'm going on that anyway yet.

Hey Biff!

Did you ever finish these up? I'd love to see what the finished product looked like!

Not finished yet, they've been on the back shelf. Way too busy getting my house ready to put on the market which is tying up all my time. What a PITA! Can't wait for the new house though!

I'll get on getting some pics up of what I have now though. After the fiasco with the cameras I never did get the memory cards all in one place to sort all the pics out.

I'm sure you get this question a lot, but how does built speaker quality compare to manufactured ones? Also, I can't really tell, but do you use a receiver, and if so, what model?

Eek. Good luck with the sale. I hope your new place has as nice a workshop as the one you seem to have now! I wish my wife and I could afford to get out of the rental market, and I could make a little shop of my own; one tiny basement room just isn't cutting it <sigh> Anyway, I'm definitely still interested in the build, and looking forward to the pics whenever you get them together.
