Default Psyko Headphones

Hi. I'm new here to HWC. I'll provide other details in my signature for my rig later. Right now I want to let everyone know I have received a set of Psyko headphones!

Out of the box so far I give them an 8/10, but...... I was having sound issues in Vista. I just installed Windows 7 so I'll be doing some further testing soon and try to give you guys an accurate review.

I thought they weren't out yet? Either way, look forward to a review.

You pre-order them from their website. They started shipping a couple weeks ago.

They're Pro-sumer garbage, with terriiiiiible frequency response across the spectrum. I won't touch these with a ten foot pole.

Have you tried them? I'm not bashing you, I genuinely want to know what your experience with them was if you've actually used them hands on.

P.S. I liked your old avatar better

I am a friend of Slik's. He has a set of Turtle Beach and Tritton 5.1 headphones to compare them with. He got the Psykos because he preordered them, and yes they do sound decent. I only tried them for about 20 minutes.

Oh yeah, guys, when you review these things, make sure you're playing games, not MUSIC. Trying a movie is also kinda cool to see as well.

Hey Guys. Killswitch is right about my head phones,Turtle Beach HPA2,Tritton Ax PRO and a set of Sennheiser 136 Surround sound. For the purpose of finding the best surround and positional sounds I will also include my wife.s Creative HS 1200 cans. They are USB but should be included anyway. And yes, I will be testing on games . I understand the Psyko was not intended for music. This is for Gamers only. I also have a Creative Fatality Champion and Auzentech Prelude sound card that I will use for a proper review. I am a nut when it comes audio video etc. so any input I can provide will be true and accurate. I have a lot to do and will take some time so bear with me. I will report my findings ASAP.
