Default Use driver from different soundcard???

Hi,

I have an HT Omega Striker and i'm wondering if i could use the AUzentech X plosion drivers since these soundcard are nearly the same. My question is: Can i use those drivers and not screw up my computer???

I am rly curious to know why you want to do this. Second, if you want to try it, I doubt It would screw up your comp. I have already tried to install the wrong version of a driver and I only got an error message.

You are right about that, I have the same card. I think you should try it out. If it works, I'll try it out. the auzentech is really that better?

This was common ot do with the 8788 cased card such as the XM, Inferno, Razor..etc. All the driver were interchangable because they all were basically the same aside from the parts used.

The only way to find out is to try it, you may have to modify a file or two...
