Logitech X-540 5.1 Surround Sound System

Hello everyone, I've been on the lookout for a good in-expensive 5.1 system for my new rig and I was wondering what you guys think of Logitech's X-540 5.1 system? I can get them for around 90 bucks.

Keep an eye out, both Best Buy and NCIX have had them for $69 recently. I don't think you can get a better kit for the same price.

I see you live in Ajax. If you really want to go inexpensive and aren't afraid of refurbished, get these X540's. I bought a set about a mont ago. They are in perfect working condition. One speaker had a 1 mm scratch on the side of it.

I scooped an X530 5.1 setup at a garage sale last summer for $25 and I love it! Go for it.

I purchased those last september for 49.99 new at Futureshop. pretty good but recently I've been dealing with a lot of static. it's their when ever I turn the volume nob unless I turn it precisely to a level to avoid it. Luckily I bought the two warranty a long with it just in case, too lazy to pack it all up and return it though :/

Volume knobs can sometimes do this. Try blowing with compressed air. It's worked for me a few times.

I bought an X530 4 years ago and they are still going strong with no problems what so ever. Great speakers, and really benefit from a decently tuned sound card, they pump out alot of bass for the low RMS. From what ive seen the x540s are just a rebuilt x530s so id expect them to easily impress at that low price.

great little system. matches my home stereo in lowdness but cant quite keep up with the quaility. go for it way better than anything my friends use that cost more.
