Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series Found someone who wants to sell this sound card, was purchased in november and has barely been used. The guy says he wants most of the price that he payed for because of how little its been used. Think its worth it to pay $150~ for this sound card? Atm im using my onboard audio on my m3a79t, it uses the ADI AD2000B codec. Ive also got no pcie 1x slots on this motherboard, but after googling it seems a 1x card will work in a 16x slot, is this correct? Just my opinion, of course, but I think he should drop the price a bit if he wants to sell; I'd still lose X amount of money driving a new car off of the lot...even if I claimed that I 'basically' didn't use it. |
That's pretty high for a used card... BNIB maybe... |
well he didnt say he wants 150 i was just using that number lol, i could always offer lower. After doing alot of googling though it seems like this card wouldnt even be that useful. Vista pretty much killed ds3d and the hardware acceleration of audio and now onboard sound is pretty much on par or at least very close to these cards. Would have looked pretty sexy in my case but i cant seem to justify spending even $100 on it now for a minimal gain :( |

Honestly, for the same amount you could pick up a X-fi Forte brand new, which is in my opinion an amazing card :O |
I had one for a month, then I sold it for $100 and went back to my old XtremeMusic. |
