z550 cutting in and out? I'm watching Punisher Warzone right now and my Z5500's pop in and out sometimes? could it be a power thing? usually when im gaming or listening to music theres no problems. sound card is in the sig. |
Have you checked your drivers lately? Is the movie a legit version or is it a DL, if do is the audio track corrupt? Try a different movie on DVD and see if sound is stable. |
nah, i tried to playback the section that cut out to see if it was corrupt audio, its not and the lcd screen on the z5500's reciever is reading signal still. i will double check my drivers for updates. |
I'd say codec related. Maybe update those. |
How do you have them connected? If it's via Coax/Optical, you may have to play a "blank" sound file to keep the unit "paying attention". If it's hooked in via 3x miniplugs, it's probably a broken file. |
well the movie is fine at times, but cuts out every now and then thats all |
optical |
Are you really pounding them? There is an overheat sensor build into them, if you listen to them really really loud, after a little while they'll turn off and on quickly to prevent them from overheating... this MIGHT be it, happened to me a few times, but music was very loud and for at least 30 mins  |
LOL wasnt even at max maybe near 50%. and i never max it out on the volume bar on computer. i make sure i run all the volumes at 50% on the video players and itunes etc. then i turn it up on the speakers |
im starting to think its my auzentech prelude -_-.. |
