Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro 70SB055A00000 in Canada at TigerDirect.ca

I've worked with this card on a few occasions and in Windows XP is was amazing. Luckily Creative have made major improvements in their Vista drivers lately. The card is essentially the same, hardware wise, as the X-Fi Titanium except for the connectors on the back of the card and the PCI interface. I also really like the I/O console, it is great if you have a use for it, if not it is really a waste of money. I stopped buy I/O drives because I found I never used them. If you got this card with I/O console for under $250 it would be a pretty good deal, espeically if you'll use the console. If you paid that much or more but won't really use the console you could have gotten a better card.

That card should be fantastic, really. If you can get that at a good price, go for it for sure!

Dudes!!! I am loving this sound card.

After a bit of playing around I got it up and running. Talk about quality sound. My Z-5500s rock with this beast. I am planning of hooking up my Bose cubes to the Z-5500 sub which should boost my Mid and high end up considerably.

I love the console. I actually plugged my record player, yes I listen to vinyl as it is the best sound next to reel to reel, directly into the console and I can now listen to my oldies with ease and convert them into digital format. Lovin it. My keyboard also connects directly in as well.

Speaking with friends on Vent last night a gut I work with commented on how true the voice was. He actually turned around thinking I was in the room as my voice was true to my actual voice. Sweet.

Fantastic card for a mere $150.00... Thanks Kijiji!!!
