DTS NEO:6 that is, only content that is originally in DTS can be played back in true DTS. ;)

My System Specs

Skip the Auzentech cards and look at the Sondigo Inferno if you plan on using the Optical out. It has the same chipset and features as the X-Meridian at 1/2 the cost. The X-Meridian has better analog output but digiatally they are equal.

What about coax spdif?

I don't think the toslink optical is working correctly on my amp, but the digital coax works fine.

your digital coax should fine since it's still part of the digital sub-system of the soundcard
and now for something completely different

@lcdguy, If you haven't change out your Opamps and try connecting your X-Meridian to yur receiver using analog. -I know, I know...you bought the card for digital BUT the analog quality on this card is truly amazing and in FACT is besting alot of highe end receivers. The card just has better DAC's. ALot of my freinds have this card and some were using digital mode until I mentioned this and now they will not go back to Digital. You still have all the same features. Let me know how it goes for you.
There are quite a few Opamps that sound good with this card
OPA2227's -Nice Bass
OPA2107- really detailed.
LM4562's In a league of their own!!
THese are the ones that will set your card free. I know how good the XM sounds out of the box but when you snap in some new LM's in sounds Phenominal.
-Currently I have EAX 1,2,3,4 and OpenAL support all hardware accelerated and still have the sound quality of the X-Meridian so I can connect up with a digital conenction if I like. You probably don't believe me but it's true.
