I have the Edifier E3350 on another household machine and the sound is simply excellent!

Even though I only use a PCI-E X-Fi XtremeAudio card for the Edifier, the sound quality and clarity is almost on par with my Z-5500 set with the Prelude X-Fi.

For some reason I never got the email saying I had responses to this my post until today, don't know why that is. Anyeverhow.... I contacted Edifier well before you made the above post, and got a response almost right away, The S750 will be coming to Canada in July; also Edifier is currently in the process of getting their speakers -- I don't know if it is all of them or just certain ones -- THX certified.

THX is overrated for 90% of the customer base out there and very few people will even know what it is.

But glad to here possibly July date!

THX certification means nothing. Tom has the entire theatre looked after is his spec, and provides crossovers for theatres to meet that spec(the "X" in THX, TH is his initials), but otherwise all that stamp counts for is the quality of the sound the product produces...

But here's the thing...it's a single person's spec. I could create a "DRA" spec that would easily surpass his, but few components would qualify, and the Logitech speakers definately WOULD NOT. THX testing outside of the theatre environment is suspect at best.
