Default New in-ear buds for cell phone?

I recently had to buy a new phone because my RAZR went all crazy and the battery was starting to last only a day or so, and also because the buttons were almost unusable. I was about to buy Cheator's iPod Touch 2G but this unfortunately happened. So, I went on ebay and found a ***** (how come N-O-K-I-A is censored? LOL) XpressMusic 5310 for half the price, on the Rogers network.

After a few days of using the phone I became a little ticked off at the earbuds that came with it. These earphones are terrible. The frequency response contains no lower range whatsoever, sounds tinny, and the length of the cord is "embarrassing", if you know what I mean. I am looking for a set of in-ear buds to listen to music with and perhaps contain a microphone as well.

The only ones that I can find that are decent are the ones that don't come with a microphone piece, but if you know of any, could you recommend some to me?

Also, if you know of any buds, with or without microphone, that are worth mentioning, please talk about them!

Thanks!

No answer? I guess nobody uses a cell phone :D. I'm looking not to spend more than $100 for them.

I don't recall seeing any w/mics. If you want high end audio, try some Shure or Kilisch. The are expensive (CAN$150-390), but truly awesome. If all you are going to use them for is listening to mp3s, they would be overkill.

You might want to try Palm 2 in 1 Pro headset (3239WW). It has the smaller 2.5 plug. Has volume control and mike so you can use them to answer the phone as well. Sound quality is not as good as dedicated audiophile ear buds, but still much better than the ones that came with my phone. I use them with my nok 6601 from fido. Works great..
