USB Headeset...

I recently bought a USB headset with a mic on it. They work great and all ... but when they are plugged in ALL my sound goes through them. I wanted to have all my videos and music in windows going to my speakers (onboard sound) and then Vent, TS, CS:S, AoC games like that going through the headset? Is that possible?
