What do I use? My router. If I'm feelng my system has become compromised then I'll run Avast/Bit Defender but thats it.

i used to use AVG, then i migrated to avast when avg pissed me off. Now i am in love with bit-defender even there paid version isn't that expensive ($30)

I have been using AVG for years now, I don't think I would go with anything else at this point. I haven't had a virus in many years now, but I like to have that protection there just in case.

If you catch Kaspersky on sale, it's around $10/PC, which works out to roughly $1/month ... Way better than anything free ... If I were to go free, I'd probably go w/ a router (firewall), AVG/Avast!, and Spybot S&D/Spyware Terminator ... |
