Default Best Free Antivirus Bundle?

I have been looking around recently for a free bundle of antivirus, spyware, malware, etc protection. Is AVG Free Edition, Comodo Firewall, Threatfire, and Windows Defender a good free bundle of tools to keep my computer protected? And would it be easy on my system resources?

What do I use?

My router.

If I'm feelng my system has become compromised then I'll run Avast/Bit Defender but thats it.

Exactly the same here, can't beat it in terms of free protection for your computer.

I have been using AVG for years now, I don't think I would go with anything else at this point. I haven't had a virus in many years now, but I like to have that protection there just in case.

You might try Spybot S&D instead of Windows Defender. Its a really good spyware tool, one of the best IMO. AVG is good, but I haven't used the other two programs.

If you catch Kaspersky on sale, it's around $10/PC, which works out to roughly $1/month ... Way better than anything free ...

If I were to go free, I'd probably go w/ a router (firewall), AVG/Avast!, and Spybot S&D/Spyware Terminator ...
