I ran AVG to the ground on several occasions now i am running Pc-Illin and refuse to go elsewhere until i hear different. I also have ran Kaspersky until i got sick of that loud screech that gos off when theres a notice..OUCH. If i could recommend a top spyware killer its XOFt SPy. Top notch and highly recommend it to those who use Spybot and all the other good cleaning tools

I use Symantec Client Security (Symantec AV + Symantec Firewall). I find it the least obtrusive & resource hogging.

There's also ClamWin, which is pretty good for a free, open-source AV.

i've been really happy with aVast when compared to other one's that i've tried.

now if i can just find a firewall for Vista that i really like, just nothing out there yet that i've been impressed with.

i have tried just about every free virus scanner (yes i am really that cheap) and have found AVG to be the best.
