I could, but I don't like my windows that big... it wouldn't look right to me. it would mean, replacing 90% of the panel with Lexan lol

Heh....

Can't say I learned that lesson first time out either, but for sure, booze and power tools are not the best combination. :)

LOL don't ever tell him about an overheating monitor !

You shouldn't have to DRILL holes - Those cases already have vent holes - you obviously have airflow issues - get a better case or check inside for anything obstructing proper airflow - have air blowing in and air going out the back - I've always used those generic cases (of course with my own quality PSU) and always keep it closed - never had a problem. The only problem I can think of is some components generating a lot of heat and warming up your case like is the case with single sloot cooling (i.e. 8800GT which transfer the heat inside your case) don't ever complain that your house is hot, he might be drilling some holes in your wall! ;-)

It was one of those "I want to help my brother out.... even though I cant stand straight" types of things... I mean at least he had the right idea to help lol right?

I'm sure he wont go drilling holes in the wall lol

The Airflow is great... the spike came from the 9800gtx, raised the mobo ambient a few degrees... but everything stable...
Now its just a waiting game till the Black Pearl comes in

Well at least he didn't use a circular saw - But hey what's $50 for a new panel, no big deal - at least he didn't make holes on your motherboard :D

Well I wouldn't rely 100% on the reading because of the location of the sensor, can give false reading, especially with your gfx card nearby :)
