Default OCZ Vendetta 2 best CPU Cooler?

According to a review on http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.ph...1&limitstart=8 the OCZ Vendetta 2 was rated the best CPU cooler.

I was wondering if anyone had one and how it performs.

Silly me, I went a bought an Ultra ChillTec a while back thinking it would be one of the better CPU coolers out there. I guess I was wrong. I think the ChillTec gives false temperature readings. On the controller it displays 25 degrees, yet in the bios the temp is like 35.

We will have a review out SOON (I'm just putting the finishing touches on it) and as a preview ;) ...... its better than the Xigmatek S1283 design it is based on. Does that mean its the best CPU cooling solution out there? No, just about any good water cooling setup will smoke the best Air Cooler. Best Air cooler.....for right now...probably. Best bang for your buck....wait for the review and read the Value section :)~

I would not call it the best. I have it plus 20 other good coolers that I tested. It is awesome for the money, but the Ultra120, Tuniq 120 and the others still can outperform it on a highly overclocked Quad. Sadly, Silverstone was to release a direct die cooler that was simply awesome in my testing, but they scrapped it before release.

PS: I am running the Vendetta 2 on my current PC and never see temps over 40C no matter the ambient and load.
