Default Asus Rampage Formula x48 Compatible Heatsink Help
if i buy the asus rampage formula motherboard what aftermarket HeatSinkFan can i buy that will fit in the mobo, i have an eye for the sunbeam ccf or the xigmatek but i dont know if this humungous heatsink/fan will fit the rampage formuka
please help me in this one

I haven't used that board, but I would assume it fits. I've used it on a couple of high-end boards w/ extravagant chipset cooling solutions (P5N72-T Premium, eVGA 680i SLI) and it fit fine, though it was a little snug against the Northbridge on the 680i SLI.

From looking at the photos on Newegg, the Northbridge heatsink appears to be the same height as on the P5N72-T Premium, so it should have ample clearance. The top heatsink looks kind of tall, but it's angled, so I think it would still clear, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
