Default Noctua NH-U12P CPU Cooler Review comment thread

Its that time again and this time we took a long hard look at the Noctua NH-U12P. This amazing cooler combines the tried and true engineering of a four heatpipe tower cooler with one of their great silent fans. The end result? One DAM GOOD CPU cooler.

You can check out my Review of the Noctua NH-U12P here: Noctua

Please use this thread to post all of your questions, comments and suggestions.

Hope You Enjoy It!

Great review and it performs quite well but I'd say Noctua looses a ton of sales due to the unique colour scheme.

Hopefully HWC will get the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 and review it since it's apparently the best heatsink out right now and it would be good to see if its true and how other heatsinks compared to it.

That cooler roundup is awesome, is there one for GPU coolers too?

Thank you jdrom17 & Crazyazn, finding new ways to compare and contrast different coolers is definitely a work in progress but I think the Value section will be a keeper ;)

Thank you too Dashock. I found the color scheme grows on you and after awhile I too didn't even notice it...and that was with it bare arse naked on my tech bench for a week! Trust me some "funky" ones really started to annoy be by the end of their testing phase but the Noctua just got easier and easier on these old eyes.
