fan controllers again...

About 100 bux price range tops giver or take a little.

I'd like something that can turn off fans completely.
Something multi speed not just 2 or 3 speed settings.
Something reliable.
Something that can run up to 4 fans on one channel.
Not software controlled!

I almost bought that Aero with the USB3 ports... thank god I didn't.

Hydrostatic Fan Drives - USA

How many fans / channels are you looking for?

clshades October 14, 2013 09:46 AM

6 fans on the 360 rad but I want to independently control each set. I'd like to shut off one set completely when idling.
1 front fan
1 exhaust
1 bottom fan
1 side panel fan 200mm
1 ram slot fan

I'm being cyber stalked... <--- googled. lol

I was going to suggest looking into a scythe controller, but quick checks at both ncix and newegg show zero stock... did they go out of business, or maybe got out of the Canadian market?

edit:

Scythe"KAMA PANEL"

Looks like maybe no Canadian market.......

edit#2

Scythe USA-Where to Buy

Maybe just a lull in supply?

edit3: That's just weird... there don't appear to be any scythe fan controllers available in Canada.... did they lose their CSA rating?

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Scythe isn't shipping it's full line to North America any more. Can't remember where I saw that though. Go with Lamptron, mine has been flawless.

clshades October 14, 2013 07:47 PM

do the lamptron switches go to off? Sorta makes or breaks the whole thing for me. all the way low isn't good enough it needs to go off :)
