Affordable cooling for 3570K ? Im looking to get an i5 3570K for my EVGA Z77 FTW motherboard that i picked up on newegg.ca for $93. Im only looking to o/c to 4.0 -4.2 ghz max. I shop primarily at Canada Computers. any advice is appreciated. |
On a budget is cooler master hyper 212+, or the newer hyper 212 evo. |
that is what i've been hearing from others too, was wondering if there was anything in the $40-60 range thats a bit better. Or would that just be pissing money away? |

Get the 212 EVO , the 212+ is a little bit harder to paste. |
I don't know what you mean by affordable,but the coolermaster hyper 612pwm is much better than the 212 and it's only 40$,or a bit cheaper the 412PWM. |
Affordable, to me means $50 or under. Im not a cheapskate when it comes to cooling and am just wondering what options are out ther other than the 212. @bliz - I'll take those into consideration. |
You can pretty much just pick any random cooler around $20 for an Ivy running 4.0-4.2ghz. Pfft Even stock cooling is good enough for 4.0 ghz. |
