Spire Introduces X2 Branded Nano-Tech Fan Series Utilizing a special nano-particle lubricant, the new X2 Nano-Tech fans offer an exponentially longer lifteime than standard fans. Typical oil seal bearings in fans wear down easily due to the constant friction, and therefore have a fairly short lifetime. Advertised as having a 70,000 hour lifetime, the X2 Nano-Tech fans are made using smaller ball bearings resulting in a considerably quieter fan, and allowing the fan blades to be much larger, increasing airflow.
