Using Noctua Voltage-Adapters for Other Fans
 
My friend has a whole bunch of textra ULNA adapters from the Noctua fans he bought. I'm pretty sure I can use them with stock case fans, but I just wanted to confirm this.

All they are is a resistor in series with the power lead to the fan. You may not get the exact same speed drop as you would with the Noctuas but they will work. I would be cautious about using them with a fan that has a significantly higher power draw that the Noctuas however due to the unknown power rating of the resistor they use.

Will be fine, though some fans may not run on the lowest voltage one... I think 5v
