That Recon fan controller... POS...

I have one sitting here and i'm unable to make it work properly in 2 seperate system, their program wont connect or recognise it, tried all the stuff they mention in their tech support forums.

I would stick to conventionnal stand-alone controller, I am about to throw this one in the garbage to get a plain one with knobs again.

There is also if you have a slot available:

Newegg.ca - Sunbeam PL-RS-PCI Rheosmart PCI 20W Fan Controller

Newegg.ca - SilenX IXA-FCEX External 4 Channel Fan Controller

Works fine for me. You're talking about the web service? There's only one problem I'm having, it doesn't recall saved settings for rpm's greater than 1300 from the webpage.

In my case, it's on or off and the web service is a no go either. So it's not going anywhere for me.

I don't have enough info to help you with your issue. Not sure exactly what you mean by on or off, so you can't adjust the speed from the fan controller touch panel? You installed and ran the recon service as administrator right? You also plugged in the correct USB connector? There's two on the Recon, the one at the very end is a passthrough only, so you'll need to connect the middle one to your board.

Decided to go with the 4 channel external that soul linked earlier. Ill just keep it internal somewhere since once I get the right mix I won't need to change anything.
