Default New cooler design. Looks promising.

Of course I wouldn't want to get a finger stuck in there.

1 thou clearance? Don't drop it or you will likely have a paperweight.

Damn.... that might even switch me back from being a WC only dude..... ;)

No cats or young kids in the house so it wouldn't be a problem even on my open bench.

It sounds like a hard drive in the video. It's not silent at all. And I wonder if it will work properly if it's tilted at 90 degree angle in a tower case.

That is one interesting cooler, something I would like to keep an eye on in the future.

It is silent, the fan it self makes no noise , its the motor that is noisy

Yeah but noise is noise regardless if it comes from the fan or the motor. If it going to sound like that in the final product then not many people will be interested.

I'm sure it will be great for servers (that can be as loud as you want it seems), but my more important concern putting this in the hands of consumers is if it will be fragile. It's essentially a flywheel with fins, and it would likely carry more momentum than spinning hard drive platters, so dropping or knocking over a device that uses this type of heat sink won't be pretty.

I'd like to use one of these, they should find a way to put these in an inclosure so you can pump water through it. Water will always be more efficient than air.
