Any fans out there with reverse airflow?
 

It's as the title states I'm looking for a fan with reverse air flow and no I do not want to just turn the fan around. The purpose of this is for looks and my computer always sits on the floor and it's very easy to see the top fans through the mesh and they don't look all that good with the labels and colored wires showing. As well I want to keep the top fans all exhaust for obvious reasons. Hope I explained it enough.

As far as I am aware no because of how the blades are designed they really only work effectively in one direction of airflow.
I've never seen a fan in my time at least that was reversed, but who knows I could be wrong.

simple use a cloth/filter/mesh to hide your fans or paint them black to hide the backside wires or use black electical tape to cover them

I have seen a few that installed "backwards" to what I was used to during my travels. Unfortunately, that's just a "For What it's Worth" comment, as I can't point you to any one specific brand / model which was the "culprit".

Only thing I can think of is to search for "intake" fans as opposed to "exhaust".

I went out and had a bunch of black dot's made to cover the labels.

It's not just the labels though, it's also the plastic "arms". I know exactly what the OP is complaining about as I've been irked by it as well..... :)

what about something like the enermax with removable blades. could be a challenge mod for someone keen.

Very nice find I will have to look into these fans further like if they can easily run without the PCI switch plate.

Nice find, What would be interesting to measure is the efficency of the Blades in reverse, as I would hazzard a guess that the statistics of that particular fan are for normal not reverse operation.
