I think a lot of it would come down to looks they're both 6 channel but the scythe also gives you temp readouts while the other doesn't.

When I was in the market for a fan controller, I was particularly interested in the Zalman ones. Great reviews all over the interwebz and a pretty decent price to boot. I'd take a look!

+1 for the Lamptron. I'm running the fc5 but it's great, easy to install and solid reliability. Looks great in any case.

IMO all fan controllers should be software controlled these days. Doesn't Corsair have that thing they were showing off at CES? Why put something in your front bay?

Although it is interesting, at ~$100+ I wouldn't bother. Especially seeing as I don't often turn my fans down but I have it more so to power all my fans. :P

well the only reason i want a controller is bc when i watch movies on my rig its soooo load and i dont need 8 120mm fans running full steam just to watch a show lol. so i will be able to turn them down and when i get ready to play a game or some thing i can turn them up
