Scythe Ninja Copper Review Comment Thread Well guys, after all of our CPU cooler reviews it was only a matter of time until we got one of the "Big Boys" on our test bench and that is what finally happened when Scythe stepped up to the plate and sent us their Ninja Copper. Check out AkG's review here: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...er-review.html Please use this thread to post your comments and questions :thumb: |
Looks awesome AkG. I love the price to performance analysis! |
I think they definitely got the fin spacing and heatpipe spacing right this time. The new update to the Rev 2 ninja should be pretty darn good! |

p.s when i open the side of the case the cpu cooler is warm to the touch, not hot. I put my finger in the hole and held it for 5min and it wasn't too hot to touch. |
Try remounting your cooler with good thermal compound. I remounted my TRUE the other day and saw a good 7*C drop in temps. |
Nice review AkG!:thumb: Appreciate the price/performance analysis, very useful:clap: Rather interesting how the Ultima-90 cools a quad better than the Ninja, but loses when cooling a dual core...shouldn't it cool a dual core better as well? |
1 Attachment(s) Great review. I used the higher rpm ninja fan on my ninja copper, and I have a low-power cpu, the results are amazing: |

Arctic Cooling MX-2 is better. It is also easier to apply, easier to clean off, and there is no Cure time. Also, non-conductive. Pretty much the best TIM there is... |
