My System Specs

Default Hmm what is a great quiet 6128cpu heatsink

Well I have been waiting for quite a while for my second NH-U9DO A3 from nicix but they are having problems and said
Quote:
. If time is not an issue we will be happy to keep the order open with the Supplier but at the moment we have no ETA. We may not get this item anytime soon and I want to give you the most honest answer. If you wish to request an exchange please reply with replacements SKUs
SO I am wondering if there are any other equally good and quiet cpu heatsinks for the 6128 that NCIX has?
on a side note and it isn't a huge deal but I would have liked ncix to let me know this instead of myself patiently waiting and then having to try and post a message to them using a way that would let me send them a message asking about the time frame of delivery.

I use Cls0017 thermaltake heatsinks from newegg. They are somewhat loud and don't perform nearly as well as the noctuas. I think the noctuas are in stock at newegg though.

WTF

I ordered 1 on December 28th, and I'm going to Purolator to pick up my order tonight?!? And as the time of this reply, NCIX has 5 more in stock at their Vancouver warehouse...

And the one I received this evening (which is located to my right as I type this) has 2 90mm fans in the box... call them. They're screwed.

Its NCIX. Are you surprised? Cause I'm really not surprised. Don't give them your money anymore...

they are a little mixed up well I contacted them and they said
Quote:
If you would like we can do this. I can submit a ETA Request to our Purchasing Team and hopefully they can get an ETA from our current supplier or locate another supplier with stock available. This will take approximately 1-2 Business Days for us to get that information, in the meantime if you can do a little web browsing to see if you can locate anything else that might be workable for your needs and I'll be happy to see if we have the product and if we can ship it soon.

a little later
SKU #2222109600 (Fan) - Back-Ordered - I have sent a Purchasing Request to our Purchasing Team, they will place an order with our supplier. An ETA from our supplier is usually expected within 24-48 hours. Please follow up on 01/09 for more information. Thank you for your patience.

I think I am going to jokenly ask for a discount just to see what they say
