Default Coolink Silentator CPU Cooler Review Comment Thread

After a strong showing with GFXChilla, we were excited to get our hands on another Coolink product. This time AkG takes a long, hard look at the Coolink Silentator which despite its odd name proves itself to be a pretty capable CPU cooler.

You can find the review here:

Coolink Silentator CPU Cooler Review

ENJOY!!!

Shhhh!!!!!!! Our push to average temperature readings for the CPU cooler reviews and TIM has also been getting some traction with other sites.

Great review as always. I thought tho it would get better temps, or at least closer to the Ultima 90. Maybe Im wrong to think that.

I talked to AkG about this and he was surprised as well. From what I see it is a combination of a weak fan along with a mere "three" (or six depending on how you look at these things) heatpipes.

I really enjoyed the $/degree comparison - I like seeing how far my buck goes and it was a really smart inclusion. I thought the entire review was very well written, testing methodology explained well and concisely, proper caveats included, and a few parts had the humour that I have come to enjoy in HWC reviews.

I already have my CPU cooler so I won't be buying this, but I know I will be watching for Coolink products in the future. Thanks AkG!

Thanks for an excellent and thorough review. I'm sold. Unfortunately after spending 15 minutes looking for a Canadian source for the Coolink Silentator I've gotten nowhere! The European site doesn't have a Canadian link.

Where can you get one of these in Canada? Thanks!

Steve
